You are invited to join your Journey Family on Wednesday, December 16 at 7:00pm - 7:30pm for a special Online Christmas Communion Service.  This will be a meaningful time of communion where we can join together as a church family online via Zoom and remember the sacrifice of Christ's death when he gave his body and blood to pay for our sin.

This special service will help you reflect on God's love for you and the hope we have while being  SAFE, SIMPLE, and SHORT - and you can utilize juice/bread that you already have at home.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

 It is a simple act.
“The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread…” (vs. 23)
 It is a reminder.
“…and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; eat it in remembrance of me.’” (vs. 24)
 It is a symbol.
“In the same way, He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; drink it to remember me.’” (vs. 25)
It is a statement of faith.
“For whenever you eat the bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes back.” (vs. 26)

Here's how it works:
Gather the materials for your communion. Typically we use unleavened bread and grape juice…but there is nothing in scripture that says you have to do it that way.  If you have any type of bread and juice or even water.   What maters here is our hearts.  But make sure you are prepared.

Join us online using the link, https://zoom.us/j/93435314854 to join fellow members of the Journey. Passcode: Journey

Or join us by phone at (929) 436-2866.  Meeting ID 934 3531 4854 #

We will lead you in a short devotion, scripture reading, a time of prayer, and we'll receive the Lord's Supper together.
