Salvation

A Christian is someone that has made a conscious decision to live their life surrendered to God.  You may have heard some people say that when they become a Christian they are a Follower of Jesus. Keep reading to find out what that really means.
Bible Reading Plans

Daily bible reading is a great way to grow spiritually. Below are some links to some different bible reading plans. Find one that interests you and start today!
Communion

Communion, sometimes referred to as the Lord’s Supper, is a celebration of Christ’s death and Resurrection.
Jesus never asked his disciples to remember His birth but he did instruct them to remember his death and resurrection. He gave the church two visible symbols (called, “ordinances”) as reminders of his death.

Baptism

Baptism is an important step for every believer. If you are a follower of Christ, but have never been baptized, then Baptism is a great next step in your faith.
Growth Groups

At The Journey, we believe that life is a team sport – best done together!  So we want to encourage you to get connected by checking out a Growth Group. Growth Groups are about sharing life together, building authentic relationships, growing in faith, and doing ministry together.

Prayer

Many times in life we encounter difficulties that seem overwhelming, face decisions and are unsure how to best proceed and need someone to help guide us in how to move forward according to God’s principles. That’s why the church is here.
Giving

Why do we tithe? The Bible says, The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives. (Deuteronomy 14:23 TLB) Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything we have. It is also God’s personal invitation to an outpouring of his blessing in your life.
